In the early ‘80s, I started gluing plastic and metal found items from the garage into jewelry. Then a friend and I started exploring beading. She gave up and I kept going, becoming a self-taught silversmith and moving into chain mail and cutting rings. I still wear my first ring, a peach moonstone in sterling silver.
